About The Position
The Assistant Manager will lead a team of delivery drivers and CSRs to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly. This role involves maintaining staffing levels, managing end-of-night procedures including bank deposits and product inventory, and ensuring the store is properly set up for opening. The Assistant Manager will foster a sense of urgency, handle dispute resolution to ensure customer retention, and oversee the collection of money and credit card receipts from drivers. Responsibilities also include ensuring delivery vehicles meet inspection standards, assisting with delivery driver routing to maintain Domino's standards, and upholding grooming and appearance standards. The role involves promoting products, specials, and promotions, receiving cross-training in product preparation and operational procedures, and providing quality customer service. The Assistant Manager must be able to communicate clearly, use a computer-based order entry system, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of delivery drivers and CSRs to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly.
- Maintain staffing levels that mirror the needs of business at any point of the day.
- Responsible for end of the night bank deposits.
- Responsible for doing a nightly product inventory count.
- Ensure the store is set up properly and ready to receive orders upon time of open.
- Foster and project a sense of urgency with each and every order.
- Comfortable with dispute resolution and ensuring every unhappy customer is a returning customer.
- Collect money and signed credit card receipts from delivery drivers at the end of their shift.
- Ensure vehicles used for delivery pass inspection, both mechanically and visually.
- Assist with routing delivery drivers to maximize service to customers while maintaining Dominos standards of orders delivered on time.
- Uphold Dominos standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance.
- Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
- Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operate pizza oven, and properly box products for delivery or carryout.
- Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person.
- Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
