Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, customers, and external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and travel as needed.
  • Valid driver's license required; must meet and maintain LifeSouth's driver eligibility requirements.
  • Criminal background check and drug screen required upon conditional offer of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in blood banking, biologics, pharmaceutical logistics, regulated manufacturing, or a similar highly regulated environment preferred.
  • experience with inventory management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the Specialty Product Services department, including product intake, inventory management, storage, distribution, and fulfillment activities.
  • Coordinate product allocation and order fulfillment to meet customer needs, contractual requirements, and service expectations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure products are stored, handled, and distributed in accordance with regulatory requirements, SOPs, and safety standards.
  • Support compliance with applicable regulations, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Partner with internal departments, hospitals, vendors, and courier services to ensure efficient product logistics and exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with quality assurance activities, including audits, inspections, documentation review, and the resolution of non-conforming events and deviations.
  • Monitor operational performance and support initiatives that improve efficiency, inventory management, service delivery, and overall departmental effectiveness.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports, analyses, and documentation to support quality initiatives, decision-making, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the implementation of new products, process improvements, and cross-functional projects.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, training, and support to team members while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
