About The Position

ASSISTANT MANAGER, RETAIL MEDIA MEDIA – NEW YORK CITY COTY is looking for smart leaders who are fast and passionate. The ideal Assistant Manager, Retail Media will choose Coty to drive best-in-class media organization and be a foundational part of our US e-commerce growth. This role offers direct ownership of high-impact strategies, leading to significant brand and e-retailer business results. RESPONSIBILITIES As our ASSISTANT MANAGER, RETAIL MEDIA, you are responsible for Execution, Strategy, and Growth. In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping to develop a best-in-class media organization for US E-commerce Retail Media. This includes assisting with full-funnel planning and strategic work across a broad portfolio, overseeing campaign execution, and finding learnings and insights for pureplay and digital sales channels. Your main focus: Assist in the development and execution of media plans across each e-retailer and pureplay, inclusive of targeting, channel analysis, and ROI assessment for Consumer Beauty and Luxury. Liaise with media agencies on planning, execution, strategy, and reporting for campaigns and new opportunities. Provide monthly updates for Brand and Sales teams and become the go-to resource for media knowledge and performance. Identify new areas of e-commerce opportunity beyond current brand offerings to drive business expansion. Own granular media optimization, tracking, and recording to ensure flawless campaign execution. Support the Senior Manager with annual media planning and goal setting by channel. Track and analyze A&CP spend and ROI while executing and processing internal and external finance processes. Assist with creative requests and delivery for all campaigns. Conduct competitive research and analysis in the beauty category to inform strategy. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams (Marketing, Sales, Trade) to achieve holistic targets. The team consists of Senior Manager, Retail Media” working closely together with several departments such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, Global and Trade. Requirements

  • 2-4 years relevant work experience in media (preferably in-house and/or agency experience, with a focus on performance media/e-commerce).
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Strong knowledge in e-commerce media and performance media (strategy, planning, buying, market and channel analysis).
  • Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail, with a focus on results and tenacity.
  • Project management/prioritization skills including managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing based on business impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of US mass and luxury beauty and/or CPG (competitive brands, retail environment, digital activations).
  • Proactivity and start-up mindset: ability to move, propose new ideas, and take actions before being asked.
  • Familiarity and expertise with leading e-retail advertising ecosystems (programmatic, search, and display) or similar digital media (hands-on keyboard experience a plus).
  • Graphic Design experience a plus (Adobe Illustrator, etc)
