About The Position
The Assistant Manager of Respiratory Care will assist the Respiratory Care Manager in various duties as delegated by the Manager. These duties may include coordinating, providing, and improving patient care in the Respiratory Care department scope of service. The Assistant Manager is able to foster clinical growth to improve quality and best practice strategies of the Respiratory Care staff through educational efforts. The Assistant Manager will assist the Manager with planning, organizing and directing all activities of Respiratory Care as directed by the Manager.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- ACLS
- PALS
- Associate College Degree: Respiratory Care
- RRT with at least 3 years of experience
- NC Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- American Heart Association ACLS and PALS
- For those working in non medical center hospitals American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP is required.
Nice To Haves
- 4 yr College Degree - Major: Respiratory Care, Business, and Health Care Administration
- 1 - 2 years experience in leadership and supervision
