Assistant Manager - Residential Housing

About The Position
We are looking for a proactive employee to provide person-centered services and supports in order to assist participants residing in an Individualized Residential Alternative (IRA) to achieve independence, maintain their health and safety, and maintain stable housing.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED plus 2 years’ experience working with people with disabilities required
- Associates degree in Human Service field plus one year experience working with people with disabilities
- Must have a valid NYS driver’s license in accordance with the Agency Vehicle and Driving policy and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the program manager with the day to day operations of the IRA
- Provision of services for participants including supporting ADL skills
- Providing support to maintain the health of participants
- Monitoring and maintaining all participants safety in the IRA as well as in the community
