About The Position

Provides leadership and support to Hospice House staff ensuring that patients receive excellent care that is supported by best practice in the most efficient and fiscally responsible manner. Also provides leadership oversight for bereavement and volunteer functions within Hospice. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a BSN, ADN with completion of a BA/BS or BSN within 3 years, or graduation from an approved school of Physical or Occupational Therapy
2 years Home Care or Hospice experience required
3 years clinical experience required
Licensed as Registered Nurse and in good standing with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulation or licensed as a Physical or Occupational Therapist in the State of Michigan and in good standing.
Possesses current Michigan motor vehicle license
Ability to drive a car
Insured vehicle capable of transport to patient homes or other offices in various weather conditions.
Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
