The Assistant Manager Order Management is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and delivered on time. This role serves as a critical link between customers, sales, planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service teams to optimize order management performance, improve customer satisfaction, and support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, order management, customer operations, or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of order-to-cash processes and supply chain operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, industrial engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Supply Chain Management Experience – PSI, Production Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, consumer goods, or technology industries.
  • Experience leading global or regional order management operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end order management process from order entry through delivery.
  • Ensure timely processing, validation, scheduling, and fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues affecting delivery commitments.
  • Establish and maintain order management policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex customer order issues.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Manage customer order priorities and communicate delivery risks and solutions.
  • Drive improvements in order visibility and customer communication
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams to align supply with customer demand.
  • Monitor inventory availability and coordinate allocation strategies during supply constraints.
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities by providing order and fulfillment insights.
  • Ensure accurate ATP (Available-to-Promise) and delivery commitments.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including: On-Time Delivery (OTD), Order Fill Rate, Perfect Order Performance, Backorder Management, Order Cycle Time, Customer Satisfaction Metrics
  • Analyze trends and implement corrective actions to improve service levels.
  • Ensure data integrity within ERP and order management systems.
  • Lead system enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Generate and analyze operational reports to support decision-making.
  • Utilize tools such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Kinaxis, or similar systems.
