About The Position

The Assistant Manager, High Jewelry Assortment – Americas is a key stakeholder for all product-related tools and training initiatives that drive sales across Contemporary High Jewelry & Heritage collections. This position will support in executing the Maison’s vision while adapting global strategies to local market, ensuring processes are streamlined and efficient. This role is designed for a high-potential individual capable of managing complex product lifecycles and driving sales objectives through cross-functional collaboration as the product expert. This position is in New York and reports to the High Jewelry Assortment Manager.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in luxury marketing, merchandising, or retail
  • High Jewelry product experience a plus
  • Knowledge of basic jewelry terms
  • Bachelors degree
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiarity with SAP and Power BI is a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
  • Proficiency in French is a plus
  • Valid work authorization for employment in the USA

Responsibilities

  • Assist network in reaching sales objectives by strategic product allocation and movements, ensuring stock is positioned in the high-potential markets in partnership with the Manager.
  • Monitor and analyze stock level, identify stock gaps and opportunities to support the network.
  • Ensure product knowledge tools are up to date and reflective of network’s inventory – disseminate to generate excitement and sales opportunities.
  • Support Manager with inbound/exports and transfers along with international rotation of HJ creations.
  • Assist Manager in product strategy rollout for novelty launches, includes preparing internal tools, managing pre-sales, and gathering qualitative insights post-launch to inform future forecasts.
  • Execute pre and post event allocation including attending & facilitating HJ events as needed. Close collaboration with Supply Chain and Merchandising partners.
  • Responsible for updating and organizing stock analysis reporting.
  • Support PR needs for editorials, events consignment etc.
  • Work collaboratively with HJ Marketing counterparts on allocation reviews, product coordination and QC statuses. Update shared dashboard on a daily basis.
  • In charge of sellable state of the stock – coordinate and prioritize QC and repairs with US workshop.
