About The Position

As an Assistant Manager, Finance, you’ll play a key role in shaping financial insights, guiding business decisions, and leading a high-performing team of analysts. This role leads financial planning, modeling, and analysis across multiple business units. You’ll translate complex data into clear insights and drive meaningful impact across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, economics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring team members.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and business case development.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (experience with tools like Workday Adaptive Planning and Power BI is an asset).
• CPA or CFA designation (or equivalent education/professional accounting designation MBA, CA, CGA, or CMA).
• Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across product lines and business units.
• Oversee financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance tracking to support decision-making.
• Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends and variances, and recommend solutions.
• Partner with leaders across BCAA to provide financial insight, business case support, and strategic guidance.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Continuously improve financial models, reporting processes, and tools.
• Lead and develop a team of Financial Analysts.
