About The Position

At Blue Moon Fitness, we are looking for full-time Assistant Managers for our Omaha Central location. This role is not a desk job; it requires active engagement on the gym floor. We are building a "Adult Table" of fitness, serving individuals who are new to exercise, managing health conditions, or restarting their fitness journey. Our focus is on creating a welcoming environment where members feel seen and valued, not invisible. We are committed to a culture of high standards, where rules are prioritized over revenue, customer service is paramount, and every member is treated with warmth, respect, and dignity.

Requirements

High Energy & Floor Presence: Naturally project warmth, authority, and high engagement.
Prefer walking the floor over sitting in a chair.
Alignment with "Rules Before Rates": Comfortable holding boundaries with confidence and grace.
Understand that protecting culture is how a club grows.
Zero Guessing (Standard 1): If you do not know an answer, commit to finding out and delivering by a specific time.
Full-Time Leadership & Owner Mindset: Take total accountability for the success of the club.
Bring a "whatever-it-takes" work ethic.
Flexibility for overtime, mandatory leadership meetings, peak operational coverage, and putting in the time required during the initial ramp-up period.
Willingness to use a custom AI co-pilot for coaching members and making decisions.

Responsibilities

Actively lift the energy and vibe of the gym floor.
Greet every member within 10 feet with eye contact, a warm smile, and by name.
Greet members when they leave, not just when they arrive.
Engage in outbound calls to new web leads with a target response time of under 15 minutes.
Check in on absent members.
Execute the 15-day guest conversion cadence.
Take ownership of members in your proximity, learning their goals, guiding them through their first 60 days, celebrating milestones, and following up with genuine care.
Inspect the work of the cleaning team and direct their efforts to ensure the club meets a "hotel room fresh" standard.
Enforce culture and standards, including bans on filming/photography, weight-dropping, and disruptive behavior.
