About The Position

At Blue Moon Fitness, we are dedicated to combating mediocrity and ensuring no member feels invisible. We are building a fitness environment that caters to everyday adults, including first-time exercisers, individuals managing health conditions, and those seeking to regain strength and independence. We are not a chaotic gym; we are creating a sophisticated 'Adult Table' of fitness. This role is for our Omaha Central location, a 17,000 sq ft club being developed as a leader training incubator. We are seeking 'thermostats' – leaders who actively set a positive and authoritative energy on the floor, rather than passive 'thermometers'.

Requirements

High Energy & Floor Presence: Naturally project warmth, authority, and high engagement; prefer walking the floor over sitting.
Alignment with 'Rules Before Rates': Comfortable holding boundaries with confidence and grace; understand that protecting culture drives club growth.
Zero Guessing (Standard 1): If an answer is unknown, state 'I don't know, but I will find out by 3:00 PM' and deliver on that commitment.
Full-Time Leadership & Owner Mindset: Take total accountability for club success with a 'whatever-it-takes' work ethic, including flexibility for overtime, mandatory meetings, peak operational coverage, and dedicated time during ramp-up to master culture and achieve success.
Ability to use an AI co-pilot for member coaching and decision-making on the floor.

Responsibilities

Actively lift the energy and vibe of the gym floor by adhering to the 10-Foot Rule (eye contact, smile, and greeting by name for members within 10 feet).
Greet members when they leave, not just upon arrival.
Collaborate with the co-Assistant Manager during a daily 2-hour floor overlap, focusing on outbound calls to new web leads (aiming for <15-minute response times), checking in on absent members, and executing a 15-day guest conversion cadence.
Take immediate ownership of members in your proximity, understanding their goals, guiding them through their first 60 days, celebrating milestones, and following up if their routine falters.
Conduct 'White-Glove Inspections' to ensure the club meets a 90%+ 'hotel room fresh' standard daily, directing the efforts of the dedicated cleaning team.
Enforce club culture and standards, including policies on filming/photography bans, weight-dropping, and maintaining a comfortable environment for all members.
