About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated leader to join our team as a Floating Manager. This role is designed to help prepare future Store Managers by working between locations to support operations, drive sales, follow process, and help teams succeed. You’ll help cover manager days off, support stores on busy days, drive customer experience and sales, ensure technicians follow process and hit goals, and help stores stay organized, productive, and profitable. You will learn what it takes to successfully run a store. This is a leadership development role with growth opportunity, offering a clear path to Store Manager. Midas is dominating the industry in developing career paths and building relationships within the communities they serve.

Requirements

• Automotive repair and/or service writing experience
• Leadership mindset with strong communication skills
• Ability to follow process and hold standards
• Team player with strong work ethic
• Wants to grow into a Store Manager role
• Flexible and able to travel between locations as needed

Responsibilities

• Support daily shop operations between multiple locations
• Assist with customer service, phone calls, and sales
• Build estimates and communicate with customers
• Help manage workflow and productivity
• Ensure inspections, recommendations, and processes are completed properly
• Coach and motivate technicians and teammates
• Learn inventory, operations, and leadership responsibilities
• Cover manager days off
• Support stores on busy days
• Drive customer experience and sales
