About The Position

ChristianaCare is looking for an Assistant Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager to assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient workflow within the Heart and Vascular Intervention Service (HVIS), which includes the Cardiac Cath Lab, Structural Heart Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Vascular Interventional Radiology, and Endovascular Neurosurgery. Share 24-hour responsibility and accountability for all aspects of daily operational activities with the Nurse Manager.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or Cardiovascular Technology program required
  • Bachelor’s degree required with 5 years of experience in Interventional Labs: Cardiac, Electrophysiology, Endovascular and/ or Neuro Or Associate’s degree with six years of experience in Interventional Labs: Cardiac, Electrophysiology, Endovascular and/ or Neuro.
  • Must obtain Bachelor’s degree within three years of hire or transfer date.
  • Registered Technologist certified through American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Annual documentation of ARRT certification and state license required or certification in Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
  • Current RT licensure in the state of Delaware required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Master's degree in nursing preferred
  • Master's degree in nursing required within 5 years of start date.
  • Three years experience in Interventional Labs : Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology, Endovascular and/or Neuro required.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Appropriate specialty certification required.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Delaware or licensure accepted to work in the state of Delaware required
  • Current BLS certification required
