About The Position
The Tipton Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join their team in Dallas, TX. This role is integral to maintaining the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents. The Assistant Maintenance Technician is responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community, ensuring resident satisfaction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Have at least three years of experience
- Provide/use of own tools
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
- Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Responsibilities
- Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
- Complete grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping
- Assist with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative
