About The Position

American Landmark Apartments is hiring an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor for Sol Riverside, a 350-unit community in Grand Prairie, Texas. The role supports the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. It may also include due diligence, community acquisitions or dispositions, and participation in company-sponsored or sanctioned committees, organizations, and functions. The position assists with supervising the maintenance team, managing work orders, maintaining the property, ordering and tracking supplies, supporting leasing and renewal efforts, and coordinating apartment turns. On-call work is compensated with a $100 stipend in addition to overtime. Maintenance team members may also earn bonuses of up to $250 based on make-ready status and work-order completion. Background and drug screening are required.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor.
1–2 years of supervisory experience.
EPA Universal certification.
HVAC certification.
Prior experience in multifamily housing.
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
Successful completion of background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising the maintenance team.
Assist in managing the work-order system and tracking work orders.
Respond to work orders within 24 hours and ensure follow-up calls are made.
Handle daily repairs and upkeep of the property.
Order supplies and track inventory.
Assist the team with renewal and leasing efforts and with achieving financial goals.
Coordinate apartment-turn efforts.
Support due diligence and community acquisition or disposition activities as needed.
Participate in company-sponsored or sanctioned committees, organizations, and functions as needed.
