The Navy Assistant Maintenance Program Managers (AMPM) shall support Commander, Naval Air Forces, Pacific (CNAP), Code N43 in the execution of various duties related to material readiness, maintenance availability development, and local CNAP coordination. This role involves assisting Ship's Force in developing and screening Current Ship's Maintenance Project (CSMP) entries, tracking Ship Change Documents (SCDs) and Alterations (ALTs), and coordinating modernization efforts. The AMPM will also assist in planning, scheduling, and executing aircraft carrier maintenance, repairs, and availabilities, as well as screening work items for repair activities. Key responsibilities include tracking and reporting on Casualty Reports (CASREPs), monitoring Steam Plant Action Requests (SPARs) and Liaison Inquires (SPLIs), and integrating lessons learned into availability planning. The position also involves administrative support for the Japan CNAP N43 team, developing and presenting briefs, representing the MPM in various conferences, and providing monthly status reports. Authorized travel is anticipated.
