About The Position

Real Property Management Principles is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to join their collaborative team. This role is responsible for providing a great resident experience by keeping properties looking great and working well. Responsibilities include maintaining various property features such as pools, landscaping, exercise equipment, appliances, heating and cooling systems, overhead doors, and lighting. The position also involves coordinating repairs, painting, and cleaning between tenants and during residency, as well as managing internal and external maintenance efforts with vendors to ensure properties are well-maintained. The company emphasizes building relationships with residents and owners, focusing on creating environments where residents love to live and owners love their investments. This requires team members who take pride in their work and customer service.

Requirements

2 years of experience in maintenance and/or a trade craft (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, masonry, etc).
Valid driver's license.
Digital literacy and ability to use a smartphone.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with maintenance and/or trade work (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc) are a plus!

Responsibilities

Coordinate maintenance work, including general maintenance, light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
Perform light groundskeeping and light appliance installation/maintenance.
Manage trash/large object disposal and pool maintenance.
Handle work orders and maintenance requests efficiently, punctually, and respectfully.
Maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with residents, understanding that a smile is part of the uniform.
Improve properties by providing great customer service and completing jobs correctly, contributing to resident satisfaction and owner investment value.
