About The Position
Join the A-Team at AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) as an Assistant Machine Operator in our brand new manufacturing plant! This role offers a starting pay of $21-25/hour, depending on experience and shift, and includes a $1,250 sign-on bonus paid out in increments over the first year. The position involves assisting with machine operations, quality control, packaging, documentation, and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand 12 hours consecutively
- Ability to pull, lift, or carry at least 50 lbs
- Ability to perform in a hot environment
- Effective communication with team members
Responsibilities
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Package finished products accurately and meet production output goals.
- Complete production documentation and report downtime, scrap, or defects.
- Participate in training and support team development.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
