About The Position

The Assistant Machine Operator supports production equipment operations by preparing materials, monitoring machine performance, helping with setup and maintenance, and checking product quality. The role works closely with a machine operator to keep production efficient and maintain safety and quality standards. Duties also include packaging finished products and handling material rolls. The position is contract to hire and is based in New Hope, Minnesota, on a first shift schedule Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $23 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One to three years of related warehouse shipping and receiving, manufacturing, or production experience, or equivalent training.
Comfort performing repetitive tasks.
Ability to read instructions, job tickets, and basic production documentation.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to read measurements and use simple quality tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Help package finished products and handle material rolls.
Operate the machine when the primary operator is absent.
