About The Position

This position is responsible for providing capacity solutions to move customer’s loads using the Werner network of qualified alliance carriers, meeting customer service requirements and maintaining profitability for Werner Enterprises. Requirements
- Knowledge of transportation industry and terminology.
- Skill in operating a P.C., including use of Internet and Intranet applications.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of transportation industry.
- Logistics experience preferred.
- Spanish
Responsibilities
- Provide capacity solutions on freight assigned to the specific office.
- Find solutions for overflow freight from other offices on an as-needed basis.
- Develop relationships with outside carriers that will provide consistent capacity to support our needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
