About The Position
The Assistant-Linen Services role supports the cleanliness and organization of linens and apparel across clinical areas. The work ensures healthcare providers have the resources needed to deliver safe, efficient patient care and contributes to patient experience and infection control. The position is based at the Moross Road campus.
Requirements
- High school diploma equivalency.
- At least 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
Responsibilities
- Collect and sort soiled linens and apparel for assigned areas.
- Stock and distribute clean linens and apparel in accordance with infection control guidelines.
- Perform daily inventory to ensure clean linens and apparel are accurately stocked and distributed.
- Identify items for repair or replacement and notify management.
- Wash, dry, or fold laundered linens and apparel.
- Operate laundry equipment according to operating instructions and departmental policies.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in clean, working condition.
