Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is seeking an Assistant Land Surveyor (under the cities job classification of, Civil Engineer Specialist Assistant, 1) to join our innovative Land Survey team within the Engineering & Technical Services Division. In this role, you’ll work with advanced tools like Leica Cyclone and AutoCAD Civil 3D, supported by one of the region’s most comprehensive survey records vaults. You’ll contribute to major projects for SPU, SDOT, and Seattle City Light by producing topographic and right-of-way maps essential to Seattle’s infrastructure design. You’ll also enjoy diverse and unique field assignments, including work in locations like the Tolt and Cedar River Watersheds.
