About The Position

We’re looking for an Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team at Springview Academy in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, caring, and excited to support young learners in a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment. As an Assistant Infant Teacher, you’ll work closely with Lead Teachers to help create meaningful learning experiences and support children as they grow and develop.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Ability to pass all required background checks
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-first mindset
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children, including lifting up to 40 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus
• CDA or higher is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities
• Help implement activities that support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development
• Create and maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Take direction, accept feedback, and continuously grow in your role
• Follow all licensing, safety, and center policies
