About The Position

Duanesburg Early Learning Center is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as a Daycare Aide and Assistant Infant Teacher. These roles offer the opportunity to work with children and provide a supportive learning environment. The center also offers an Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages on demand.

Requirements

For Daycare Aide: Must be 16 years of age or older.
For Daycare Aide: HS Diploma/GED OR 1 year experience working with children under 13.
For Assistant Infant Teacher: Must be 18 years of age or older.
For Assistant Infant Teacher: HS Diploma/GED.
For Assistant Infant Teacher: 1 year experience working with children under 13.
Maintain 30 hours of childcare-related training every 2 years.
Tuberculosis (TB) Test and physician’s clearance to work in childcare.
Basic computer skills.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community.
CPR, First Aid, AED, Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 30 days of hire).

Nice To Haves

Child Abuse Prevention (Supervisory Staff) training.

Responsibilities

Work with children under 13 years of age.
Maintain 30 hours of childcare-related training every 2 years.
