About The Position
Duanesburg Early Learning Center is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as an Assistant Infant Teacher or Daycare Aide. These roles offer the opportunity to work with children and provide a supportive environment. The center also offers an Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages on demand.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older (for Daycare Aide)
- Must be 18 years of age or older (for Assistant Infant Teacher)
- HS Diploma/GED
- 1 year experience working with children under 13 (for Daycare Aide)
- 1 year experience working with children under 13 (for Assistant Infant Teacher)
Responsibilities
- Work with children under 13
- Maintain 30 hours of childcare-related training every 2 years
- Complete Tuberculosis (TB) Test and obtain physician’s clearance to work in childcare
- Utilize basic computer skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Relate to diverse groups in the community
- Complete Child Abuse Prevention (Supervisory Staff), CPR, First Aid, AED, Blood-borne Pathogens trainings within 30 days of hire
