About The Position
Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for an enthusiastic Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join the Surgical Inpatients Unit in this permanent, part-time position working 16hrs per week. This role works day shifts only.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or working towards completion
- Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other health professionals, patients and relatives/carers
- Skills to assist with the management of stock
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a surgical ward will be highly regarded
Responsibilities
- Support the nursing team to continue in the provision of expert care to patients who are seeking excellent standards of nursing care at all times.
- Assist to provide an exceptional level of care and to hit the ground running.
