About The Position

Allied Universal Janitorial Services is hiring an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to supervise and work alongside a crew performing daily cleaning of mall common areas, including restrooms, the food court, and other public areas. The position pays $18.55 per hour and is full-time on the afternoon shift. The role may require variable shift hours, including weekends and nights, and availability on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to handle requests or incidents at the site.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent for full-time positions.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Effective communication with customers, patrons, and employees, including providing friendly and engaging assistance.
• Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Attention to detail and reliability in completing repetitive tasks.
• Integrity and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in operations, diagnostics, and maintaining HVAC/chiller systems.
• Strong maintenance skills and knowledge, and computer proficiency.
• Professional appearance and conduct, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence and comfort interacting effectively with all management levels.
• Willingness to work hands-on alongside staff where needed.
• Ability to embrace change and quickly modify goals and directives.
• Ability to multitask, use independent judgment, and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards for housekeeping, maintenance, and landscaping programs.
• Ability to operate machinery, including high lifts, motorized tools, and vehicles.
• Ability to climb ladders and walk on the facility rooftop.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, drive, and operate equipment frequently and repetitively.
• Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year to handle site requests or incidents.
• Flexibility to adapt to variable shift hours, including possible weekends and nights, as needed by the company.
• Reliable transportation.

• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
