About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring that team members are properly trained on procedures to operate and/or maintain machinery while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–2 years of experience in sanitation, manufacturing, or food production
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures and workplace safety
  • Must have at least 3 months work experience in the past 12 months.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a trainer, team lead, or leadership role
  • Preferably has experience in training, mentoring, or onboarding employees
  • Knowledge of USDA, FDA, or food safety regulations
  • Bilingual skills (as needed)
  • Experience working with sanitation chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment

Responsibilities

  • Train team members on sanitation procedures, equipment operation, and safety standards
  • Demonstrate proper cleaning methods and safe use of industrial sanitation equipment
  • Reinforce compliance with Tyson policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Observe performance and provide coaching, feedback, and hands-on support
  • Identify training gaps and partner with leadership to improve processes
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation
