About The Position

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. This position is responsible for ensuring that team members are properly trained on procedures to operate and/or maintain machinery while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have completed probationary period
• Must have excellent attendance record (6 points or less) and maintain 9 points or less
• Must have excellent Safety record, must not have a disciplinary action resulting in Suspension in the last 12 months.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends/ holidays if required.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Always performs Trainer tasks in a safe manner.
• Is in charge of all trainees within their area of responsibility.
• Sets goals for the training department on a daily basis.
• Learns and is able to teach all aspects of a job to Trainees.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of Management.
• Ability to document the trainee process in writing and in computer reports.
• Ability to teach knife skills.
• Is detail oriented and safety minded.
