About The Position

The Assistant Home Shopping Manager supports the Home Shopping Manager in leading the daily operations of the Home Shopping (Drive Up & Go) Department. This position helps ensure the efficient fulfillment of customer orders, exceptional customer service, operational excellence, team development, and achievement of sales and productivity goals. The Assistant Home Shopping Manager plays a key role in maintaining order accuracy, on-time fulfillment, and a seamless online shopping experience for customers.

  • Reducing shrink through proper merchandise handling and operational controls
  • Verifying perishable product freshness and quality
  • Assisting with inventory management and operational audits
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and operational procedures
  • Promoting a safe work environment and adherence to safety standards
  • Maintaining department cleanliness, organization, and equipment safety
  • Supporting loss prevention and shrink reduction efforts
  • Participating in operational reviews and compliance audits
  • Supporting initiatives to increase online sales and customer engagement
  • Assisting with promotional programs and digital shopping initiatives
  • Monitoring key performance indicators
  • Identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and customer experience improvement

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a customer-first culture.
  • Ensure online orders are selected, packed, staged, and delivered accurately and on time.
  • Resolve customer concerns, substitutions, refunds, and service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support customer satisfaction initiatives and monitor customer feedback.
  • Assist with curbside pickup and customer order handoff as needed.
  • Assist in overseeing daily Home Shopping operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor order volume and allocate resources appropriately to meet service level expectations.
  • Ensure order selection standards are consistently met, including product quality and freshness requirements.
