Responsibilities

Implementing existing policies, procedures and systems involving cashiering operations, customer service functions and security procedures.
Assisting the Head Teller with coordinating, directing, assigning and evaluating work of Teller staff.
Answering Teller questions, handling complex transactions and problems, and overseeing balancing.
Ensuring smooth flow of Teller lines, optimal window coverage, and general training and assisting with supervision of Teller staff.
Overseeing provision of a full range of services to existing and prospective customers.
Ensuring customers are promptly and professionally served.
Handling difficult customer situations when needed.
Acting as a Teller when necessary and actively cross selling Bank services.
Keeping Head Teller and Branch Management informed of area activities.
Following established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards and operational processes related to areas of responsibilities.
Identifying areas of improvement and offering suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Keeping abreast of current changes in technology, processes and standards within the industry and areas of responsibility.
