The SEED School of Washington, D.C. is seeking an Assistant Volleyball Coach to join their athletics department. This role reports directly to the head coach and involves working with athletes to improve their skills and performance. Responsibilities include running drills, leading conditioning exercises, providing instruction on in-game strategies, attending games, and assisting with travel arrangements for away games. The SEED Foundation was established in 1997 to create college-preparatory urban boarding schools. The SEED School of Washington, D.C. is the first public college preparatory boarding school in the nation, serving 250 students in grades 9-12. All students live on campus from Sunday evening through Friday afternoon, with dormitories organized into small houses. The school provides a safe and caring 24-hour boarding experience and emphasizes the importance of parent/guardian relationships. SEED is a national network of public, college-preparatory boarding schools offering a unique 24-hour, 5-day per week learning environment for traditionally underserved students, with schools in Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Miami, and Los Angeles. The SEED Foundation's College Transition & Success (CTS) team supports SEED graduates through college graduation. SEED's success has been recognized by media outlets and former President Obama.
