This role involves assisting in the management of all operations within a hatchery facility, including personnel, eggs, and equipment. The Assistant Hatchery Manager will help coordinate various hatchery activities such as egg pickup and delivery, egg care, incubation, hatching, grading, vaccination, and chick preparation and shipment. A key aspect of the role is ensuring compliance with Company, Safety, and Animal Welfare policies and procedures, as well as assisting in the management of the animal welfare program and daily deliveries, ensuring adherence to DOT requirements and safety protocols. The position also encompasses other relevant duties as assigned.
