This role involves the supervision of the maintenance and repair of construction and maintenance equipment. The Assistant Golf Superintendent can and should act in place of the Golf Superintendent when they are absent. This position requires interviewing, hiring, training, directing, and supervising a staff of employees for the purpose of maintaining the golf course and other outdoor areas. The role also includes managing the scheduling and routing of personnel and equipment, inspecting the golf course and related areas to evaluate management standards and implement changes, performing inventory control, and overseeing equipment maintenance programs. Accurate record-keeping for payroll, inventory, weather data, and maintenance procedures is essential. Regular communication with the Golf Course Manager & Golf Superintendent regarding activities, goals, plans, and customer input is required. The position involves planning and scheduling daily, weekly, and monthly work/project activities, and providing service that reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation, and Recognition (S.T.A.R.). Additionally, the role requires immediate reporting of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity to the on-site IGC Agent, Security, and Supervisor on Duty, in accordance with the company's Self-Reporting Policy. Miscellaneous duties as assigned are also part of the role.
