Assistant Golf Course Mechanic
About The Position
The applicant will assist the head mechanic in all activities concerning maintenance of grounds equipment. There is a high demand for head golf course mechanics with above average pay. Applicants need to have some knowledge of auto - equipment maintenance. The club has multiple benefits including health, vision, dental insurance along with 401 K and free lunches. Paid vacation is also available. The work week will be 40 hours per week. Pay is $25/HR. This position is a valuable learning experience and is well suited for someone looking for advancement. Upon requiring the skills to be a head golf course mechanic you can expect to make $75,000 to $100,000 per year.
Requirements
- Some knowledge of auto - equipment maintenance.
- Experience in the mechanical trade (auto or small and large equipment).
- Having your own tools will be beneficial.
- Some lifting is required up to 50 LBS.
