Under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, the Golf Course Mechanic is responsible for the expert maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment, both large and small. This role involves performing a full range of preventive and repair services, including fabrication, welding, reel mower setup and grinding, diesel engine repair, and maintenance of gasoline and two-stroke equipment, as well as electrical repairs and other mechanical work as assigned. The mechanic will perform tune-ups, electrical repairs, major overhauls, and routine service repairs on trucks, cars, tractors, and specialized golf course equipment. The position also includes performing other duties as assigned.
