About The Position
The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding assistant coach to coach the golf team for the 2024-2025 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence, equity, and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.
Requirements
- CPR certified.
- NFHS concussion course
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Experience coaching golf
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Coach the team they are assigned to.
- Assume the duties of the head coach when the head coach is not present.
- Assist in coaching at practice and games.
- Implement practice plans.
- Oversee scouting of opposition.
- Be a liaison between the captains and the head coach.
- Coordinate with the athletic office on rostering, awards, and medical issues.
