About The Position

This position is responsible for providing coaching, development, and supervisory responsibilities for the girls' basketball program at Air Academy High School. The role reports to the Athletic Director and/or head coach. Compensation is contingent upon the approval of athletic events during the school year. The district reserves the right to modify duties as needed.

Requirements

ASEP Certification - American Sport Education Program
CHSAA Certification - Colorado High School Activities Association
High school graduate -high school diploma or equivalent
NFHS Coaching Fundamentals Certification - National Federation of State High Schools
Ability to be flexible and patient in work demands
Ability to assist students in assigned areas
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from many diverse backgrounds and professions including supervisors, administrators, coworkers, staff, students, parents, and the general public

Responsibilities

Reports consistently for work as scheduled

Regularly pursues appropriate professional learning activities
Rosters, transportation requests, certifications are handed in prior to deadlines.
Supervises all facilities and athletes before, during, and after practices and competitions
