About The Position
Redmond School District is seeking an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach at Redmond High School. The role supports the school’s high-performing team and its efforts to make success possible for all students. The coach should be able to teach basketball skills and fundamentals and positively motivate students. Previous high school coaching experience is preferred. Redmond High School is one of the district’s comprehensive high schools. Redmond School District serves more than 7,000 students across Redmond and nearby communities and operates seven K–5 elementary schools, one specialized learning center, two middle schools, and two comprehensive high schools. Requirements
- A First Aid card is required for coaching positions.
- NFHS training is required and may be obtained after hire.
- Be a team player, organized, disciplined, responsible, high-energy, positive, and ethical.
- Ability to teach basketball skills and fundamentals.
- Ability to positively motivate students.
Nice To Haves
- Previous high school coaching experience preferred.
