About The Position
Voodoo Doughnut is seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant General Manager in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, creating and executing successful marketing plans, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. A strong entrepreneurial spirit, experience with ordering and inventory systems, and an understanding of running a guest-focused business are essential. The position requires a flexible schedule, reliable transportation, and the ability to handle physical demands such as lifting heavy objects and working with cleaning chemicals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the food or hospitality industry
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Strong business acumen, with experience managing budgets and financial performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for great doughnuts and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- A strong work ethic, with the ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions quickly and decisively
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed
- At least 3 years of restaurant management or bakery production experience
- Experience with ordering and inventory systems
- Understand how to run a guest-focused business

Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of doughnut makers and service staff
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Analyze financial data to make informed business decisions
- Collaborate with General Manager to create a culture of excellence, emphasizing guest service and quality products
- Foster a positive work environment, providing coaching and feedback to team members
- Communicate effectively with the Voodoo Doughnut team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
