Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree and/or extensive experience in a hotel or related field required.
- Strong financial knowledge required.
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and possess basic mathematical skills
- Reading, Writing, Basic Math
- Computer skills
- Brand systems
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of hotel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Generates through proper supervision of assigned departments projected revenue levels as well as guest satisfaction.
- Participates in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the hotel.
- Remains current on business trends and local activities.
- Meets assigned departmental budgets and monitors financial statements.
- Establishes and maintains an appropriate level of community involvement.
- Ensures proper handling of guest complaints.
- Assists in the development of new programs which results in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
- Ensures cross-selling of other Shamin Hotels by hotel staff.
- Teaching, mentoring, and directing hotel staff.
- Being comfortable with the high level of visibility and the leadership role within the hotel and community.
