About The Position

The Assistant General Manager provides leadership, supervision, and direction for strategic initiatives and operating standards to positively impact business results in assigned front-of-house and back-of-house areas, under the guidance of the General Manager. The role oversees business operations from detailed execution to broader business objectives and helps deliver a memorable guest experience in a fast-paced restaurant and entertainment environment. The position involves working an average of 50-hour work weeks and walking approximately five miles per shift. The environment may be fast-paced, noisy, and distracting. The role requires availability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
At least 5 years of restaurant or hospitality experience.
Proficiency in managing cost of goods sold and labor.
Strong business acumen.
Ability to lead a team in creating a memorable guest experience.
Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions.
Able to handle busy business days, walk approximately five miles per shift, and work an average of 50-hour work weeks.

Responsibilities

Promote positive employee relations through effective delegation of managerial duties and fostering high staff morale.
Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control costs to meet or exceed annual budgets.
Ensure staff training programs are executed.
Ensure staffing levels and management coverage meet business needs and maximize the customer experience.
Deliver a strong guest experience through food, drinks, and games.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Continuously improve operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to operating standards and procedures.
