About The Position

LUV Car Wash is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support site operations, help build a winning team, and grow into a future leader. The role supports the company’s mission to grow its people, maintain strong operations, and foster continuous improvement. The Assistant General Manager reports to the General Manager and is classified as non-exempt. The position involves directing vehicles into wash tunnels, inspecting vehicles, maintaining a clean and organized facility, monitoring inventory, following safety procedures, addressing customer escalations, supporting team recruitment and development, and following cash-management procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least one year of car wash experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for creating genuine connections with team members and providing excellent customer service.
Moderate proficiency in MS Office, including Excel.
Physical ability to move equipment and tools as needed.
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
Ability to work in extreme weather and wet environments, and to wear PPE correctly throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Direct cars into the wash tunnels.
Visually inspect vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the tunnel.
Clean the facility and ensure items are organized and kept in their appropriate places.
Monitor inventory and supplies and assist with orders.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Address customer escalations calmly and professionally.
Assist with recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company’s mission.
Follow standard cash-management procedures, including daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.
Remain current on competencies applicable to the role and stay updated on company policies and affairs through appropriate sources.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
