About The Position

Nouria Energy Corporation is a multi-generational, family-owned wholesale fuel distributor, convenience store operator, and car wash operator in New England. The company operates more than 150 company-operated convenience store locations throughout New England and supplies branded and unbranded fuel to more than 300 locations across New England and New York.

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in overseeing the store’s daily operations. The role includes mentoring team members to provide fast, friendly service and ensuring customers receive a positive shopping experience. The position also supports store upkeep, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to read and write and operate electronic equipment and complete sales transactions.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift, kneel, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds; must also be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
• Ability to traverse and access all areas of the store.
• Ability to work any shift during the store’s operating hours and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude.
• Stock and restock merchandise throughout the facility.
• Check in vendor deliveries.
• Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliation, and cigarette counts.
• Assist with training team members.
• Assist the Store Manager as needed.
• Ensure the physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
