The Assistant General Manager at Bear Creek Golf Club, a premier public 36-hole destination minutes from DFW Airport, featuring two Ted Robinson championship courses and an event venue that hosts up to 1,000 guests, will focus on golf operations and high-volume events. Reporting to the General Manager, this role involves co-leading day-to-day club operations with a strong emphasis on golf operations and the sale and flawless execution of outings, tournaments, banquets, and special events. The Assistant General Manager will be a hands-on, visible leader who drives revenue, develops the team, and ensures every guest has an exceptional experience.

Requirements

3+ years of leadership in golf operations, hospitality, or event/club management.
Proven experience executing golf outings, tournaments, and/or large events.
Strong financial acumen and comfort with POS/tee sheet systems.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak season.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily golf operations across two courses: tee sheet, pace of play, pro shop, and guest experience.
Lead events team running golf outings, tournaments, and banquets, from sales handoff through day-of execution.
Partner with sales, F&B, and agronomy to deliver seamless, high-volume events & daily fee experiences.
Support F&B outlets and banquet catering service and standards along side F&B Team.
Help achieve revenue and budget targets; monitor labor, cost of goods, and daily financials.
Hire, train, schedule, and develop staff; manage the club in the GM’s absence.
