About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and mentors team members to provide fast, friendly service and a great customer shopping experience. The role supports a clean, safe, attractive store environment and helps serve customers and local communities through courteous in-store service.

Requirements

• Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude and positive approach to customer service.
• At least one year of retail experience.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to read, write, and operate electronic equipment and process sales transactions.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to stand, kneel, lift, and bend; lift up to 25 pounds, and at times up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store.
• Must be able to work any shift during store operating hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Stock and restock merchandise throughout the facility.
• Check in vendor deliveries.
• Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliations, and cigarette counts.
• Assist with training team members.
• Assist the Store Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the physical condition, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
