Assistant General Manager
About The Position
The NOW Massage is hiring a hands-on Assistant General Manager to help launch its new Rochester Hills boutique, planned to open in late 2026 or early 2027. The anticipated start date is mid-November 2026, allowing the Assistant General Manager to help prepare the boutique, hire and train the team, and establish daily routines before opening. Working alongside the General Manager and ownership, the Assistant General Manager will help lead daily operations, coach front desk and massage therapist teams, and support membership and sales growth. The role calls for someone who takes initiative, cares about team members and guests, and is excited to help build a strong team and deliver an exceptional guest experience from day one. The position is full-time, salaried, and 40 hours per week, with availability needed five days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and consistent coverage during peak periods.

Responsibilities
- Help prepare the new boutique for opening, including hiring, training, and establishing daily routines.
- Help oversee daily operations, including opening, closing, cleanliness, inventory, and brand standards.
- Coach and support the team, help address attendance and performance concerns, and assist with ongoing hiring and training.
- Assist with team scheduling and address day-to-day staffing needs.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience, resolve concerns, and strengthen member relationships.
- Help drive memberships, retention, rebooking, and sales through team coaching and performance tracking.
- Support administrative tasks, local promotions, and community partnerships.
