About The Position

LV Petroleum is hiring an Assistant General Manager for Applebee's at its Grandview travel center. The role oversees daily operations and aims to provide guests with delicious meals and exceptional service while building and motivating a successful team. Responsibilities include guest experience, team leadership, operational standards, financial performance, menu management, and marketing and promotions.

Requirements

At least 3 years of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or cafe environment.
Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team.
Commitment to exceptional guest experiences and ability to respond positively to customer feedback.
Understanding of restaurant financials, budgeting, and cost control.
Ability to assess challenges quickly and implement effective solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming environment and ensure guests receive warm greetings and top-notch service.
Recruit, train, and develop team members, giving them the tools and support to succeed.
Maintain standards for food quality, safety, and cleanliness and ensure smooth, efficient operations.
Manage budgets and expenses, maximize profits, and analyze financial reports for improvement opportunities.
Work with culinary staff to enhance menu offerings, introduce seasonal items, and maintain consistency in food presentation and quality.
Implement strategies to attract customers and engage the local community through events and promotions.
