About The Position

LV Petroleum is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the leadership and daily operations of our Del Taco restaurant. The Assistant General Manager plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience, developing team members, driving operational excellence, and achieving business results. This position partners closely with the General Manager to lead restaurant operations, maintain brand standards, and build a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in restaurant, quick service, retail, hospitality, or similar operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous management experience in a Quick Service Restaurant preferred.
  • Experience with scheduling, labor management, and operational performance metrics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, execution, and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, speed of service, and overall restaurant presentation.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with Del Taco operating procedures and company standards.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training team members.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate employees to achieve performance goals.
  • Lead shifts and provide operational support during peak business periods.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Support scheduling, labor management, and staffing plans.
  • Assist with inventory controls, ordering, food cost management, and waste reduction.
  • Help drive sales growth and achieve restaurant performance goals.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and support action plans as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
  • Support operational audits and ensure standards are consistently met.
  • Promote a safe and positive environment for guests and team members.
