Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in the coffee or food service industry
  • At least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to resolve conflicts in a fast-paced environment
  • Ready to work 30+ hours per week
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and assume full responsibility for the store in their absence.
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins and provide on-the-spot coaching to elevate service.
  • Oversee inventory counts and assist with ordering to prevent supply shortages.
  • Ensure the team maintains a genuine connection with each other and the community.
  • Ensure the interior and exterior remain pristine through regular audits and equipment maintenance.
  • Support administrative tasks, manage labor, and hit speed-of-service goals.
  • Provide consistent coaching to Shift Leaders and Baristas while facilitating new hire training.
  • Ensure every team member adheres to MOKA’s core values and safety protocols.
